ASSET PURCHASE OF RACINE PLATING COMPANY

Wisconsin Plating Works of Racine, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has acquired the assets and equipment of Racine Plating Company. The new Racine Plating Division will complement Wisconsin Plating's existing finishing capabilities of Zinc Plating, Zinc Alloy Plating of Zinc/Cobalt and Zinc/Nickel, Copper/Nickel/Chrome, Tin Plating and Hexavalent Chromates and Trivalent Passivates of Clear, Yellow and Black.

The 75,000 sq ft facility of the Racine Plating Division will offer Automatic Barrel Zinc Plating, Automatic Rack Plating of Copper/Bright Nickel/Chrome, Zinc Phosphate, Black Oxide, Barrel processing of Nickel and Copper, Passive on Stainless Steel, Vapor Degreasing, Chromate on Aluminum and Zinc Alloys, Deburring, Burnishing, Descaling, Pickling and Chromating of Clear, Yellow, Black, and Ultraseal.

Wisconsin Plating was one of Wisconsin's first metal finishing job shops to become ISO certified and has upgraded their Quality Management System to ISO-9001:2000.

The two divisions are less than a mile apart and located just outside of downtown Racine. The combined divisions will share over 300 regional industrial and commercial customers.

The asset purchase will enable Wisconsin Plating Works of Racine, Inc. customers to better compete on a global basis while improving logistics, lead-times, quality management and overall operational efficiencies.

We are excited about integrating the combined finishing capabilities to better serve our existing and new customers finishing requirements.
